Between the hours of 6 PM - 6 AM, 7 days a week, Yale students, faculty and staff can call (203-432-6330 or 203-432-WALK) to request a University Security safe ride within campus boundaries. A University shuttle or Security Vehicle will be dispatched to your location and will drop you to your final on-campus destination. It is advisable to request the service at least 15 mins prior to the intended departure time and even earlier during high-demand hours such as late nights on weekends.

Students, faculty and staff can request a Yale Security Officer as a walking escort to or from any location within a reasonable walking distance on-campus, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 2-WALK. Security Personnel can be identified by their uniforms and carry two-way radios and are in continuous contact with the Central Alarm Station on 4 Bristol St.

Yale also has a Nighttime Shuttle Service that runs from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am Monday through Sunday (seven nights a week). This service runs on a scheduled route around the campus and does off-route dropoffs. View more information on the Nighttime Shuttle Service and real-time GPS locator here.
